Tom Erickson has worked at the senior executive level in Human Resources for over 30 years. He is a practitioner. He brings a practical, results oriented perspective developed from years of line management experiences combined with his expertise in the behavioral sciences, management and organizational development.
Having worked at both the corporate and division levels for both large and small organizations in both union and nonunion environments and in a variety of industries, Mr. Erickson is seasoned and has a broad perspective. He has developed and managed transition and integration strategies for thirteen M&A events.
Recognized most for his contributions in the areas of Cultural Change and Management and Organizational Development, Tom developed “Creating a Culture for Success” at Elgar Electronics Corporation, and at Solar Turbines—a nationally recognized, video based middle management development program. He also is recognized for employee driven work teams to identify and resolve potential and existing quality issues. Additionally, he had the unfortunate experience of working through a violent act by a past employee who shot and killed two managers in the workplace.
Tom is a graduate of Indiana University (BS) and the University of Cincinnati (MA). He transitioned into Human Resources after receiving his Masters degree in Management and Organization Development. The first five years of his career were in Marketing; divided between the Oliver Corporation (a division of White Motor) and Allis Chalmers Manufacturing Company.
